Hey, it's me, the facility guy at Trinity, part of the future staff leadership team of Connexus.
Can you recall a time in your life when you were really pumped about something that was dawning on the horizon of your calendar? Some event in your life or in the life of your family that you were really looking forward to? Maybe it was your first day of high school, college or university (or maybe your last day of high school, college or university). Maybe it was your wedding or the birth of your child.
I'm sure you know where I'm going with this. As the launch of Connexus Community Church draws closer, the anticipation is growing. Are you feeling it too?
Of course at this point along with the anticipation are a few unanswered questions, like whether or not we will remain in our current facility. Which has prompted many of you to ask the question "So what happens to the facility guy if we have to leave?"
First of all, I want to say a sincere and heart felt thank you for your concern. I want to let you know that regardless of what happens with the building, I have employment with Connexus, so I'll be on the staff team moving forward! There will be lots to do, and so I'll definitely be part of the Connexus team. I also want to get past myself for a moment to say I'm genuinely happy to be a part of of it all. This ministry is close to my heart because so many folks out there don't yet know Jesus, and we know more sites will create more opportunity to introduce people to Him. That gets me pumped!
