It’s one of the biggest complaints those outside the church have about those inside the church.
Christians too often appear to believe one thing, but do another thing. Many times, they just don’t seem to live up to their own moral code.
Do you think about Christians when you read the following teachings of Jesus?
“Love your neighbour as yourself”, “Do not judge others”, “He who humbles himself will be exalted.”, “Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.”
These are all teachings of Jesus, and yet many christians seem to do the opposite.
Why is that? And how can we all learn to be a little more Like Jesus?
We launch a brand new series this week at our Barrie campus all about that, called “Like Jesus” with Carey Nieuwhof.
If you like Jesus, but can’t stand christians, you’re not going to want to miss out this Sunday!
In Orillia, we wrap up the New Rules for Love Sex and Dating with Andy Stanley. It’s a great week to invite your friends! See you Sunday!
Like Jesus – Part 1 – Like a Pharisee | Carey Nieuwhof
People loved Jesus, but there was one religious group that were both revered and despised—the Pharisees. Why is that? We’ll introduce 5 habits that Jesus practiced that made him very different from the Pharisees. And we’ll share an assessment that will tell you whether you are more like Jesus or more like the Pharisees.

The New Rules For Love Sex and Dating – Part 3 – Designer Sex | Andy Stanley
You can say, “I do.” But can you follow through? A promise – even a promise as big as a wedding vow – doesn’t mean anything without preparation to back it up. In this message, Andy has a “to do” list that will prepare you to one day say “I do” and mean it.
