That’s what we’re going to share with you Sunday. In fact, we even have a little contest going to make it more fun for you family this Family Day Weekend. We’ll share some details Sunday…and want to hear from you after Monday is over.
Another great way to help your family is to get involved in the mission of the church. We’ll give you an opportunity to do that Sunday. In Orillia, we’re talking about what happens when people give, and in Barrie, we’ll talk about what happens when people invite their friends. It’s all part of the Four Things series.
We are so incredible encouraged. We already have over 300 adults in community groups and about the same number who serve in our ministry. But in the last three weeks alone, more than a hundred new people have signed up to serve, connect or give. That’s amazing. We’re excited because we believe that’s going to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. AND, it provides exceptional modeling for your kids. When they see you get involved and grow in your faith, they’re far more likely to follow suit.
So join us for an incredible weekend at Connexus. It’s going to be awesome.
Oh, and before we get to that, don’t forget about our upcoming Financial Learning Experience featuring the engaging teaching of Joe Sangl. It’s also a great envent to bring a friend to. It happens Wednesday, February 22nd at 7 pm at the Barrie Country Club | 635 St Vincent Street North, Barrie . Want to know all the details or to register for this event? Click here
Here’s what’s happening at both of our campuses this Sunday ::
Part Five: Invite | Barrie Campus | 8:30 and 10:00
(Family Environments 8.30 & 10.00)
All of us have subjects we can’t keep quiet about: our family, a hobby, our job, our passion, our favourite food. If it matters to us, we want it to matter to others. Is faith any different? Is there a way to share what’s important to you without turning off the people who are important to you?
Part Four :: Give |Orillia Campus | 8:30 and 10:00
(Family Environments 10.00)
Of all the subjects churches touch, money is the touchiest. What’s strange is that almost everyone talks about money every day. You can’t live a day without thinking about it. This week, we’ll look at what happens if you leave God out of such a key area of your life, and what can happen when you invite him in.
Happy Family Day weekend!
