Announcing…

I love announcements, especially when there is good news.  Here are two things we're pretty pumped to share.

Christmas Eve 2008
First…our Christmas Eve services.  No surprise – they are happening Christmas Eve, Wednesday, December 24th.  Here's when, and where, and how.

We are offering three live services Christmas Eve to give our community great options.  I'll be speaking live at all three services as we wrap up the Revolutionary Love series on Christmas Eve.  Here are the details:

We're hoping these options give you lots of choice for your friends.  Afternoon services have historically been very well attended, and based on the auditorium size, two services will likely be needed in Barrie.  You can plan to invite your friends and family starting now.

There will also be regular services Sunday December 21st and December 28th, when we'll begin a brand new series on how to grow spiritually in 2009.

Charitable Status
After almost a year of waiting, we're so glad to be able to share that Connexus has received full charitable status from the Canada Revenue Agency.  I heard people cheered at all four services when this was announced Sunday.  That's cool!  Thanks for your patience!

For those of you who have donated to Connexus, watch your mailbox for documentation soon to help you get a full tax receipt for donations received so far, including those that date back into 2007.

I think this is going to be an exciting two months coming up at Connexus.  Can't wait for the weekend!
