One area that so many of us want to move from surviving to thriving is the area of finances. At Connexus we want to help families win with their money. Why? When we live with financial margin, we’re able to live on the mission that God calls us to as individuals, as families, and as a church community.
We want you to be able to save for retirement, fund your children’s education, pay cash for a vacation and not have your finances be a place of perpetual struggle.
Two Recent Articles In The Globe And Mail
There are two recent “Globe and Mail” articles that have been brought to my attention that highlight two sides of the tension of financial margin. The first one highlights the reduction of debt in the province of Ontario. We know that many of you are apart of that group as you’ve implemented what you learned through Joe Sangl’s “Financial Learning” nights and small groups at Connexus. People are realizing that margin, not debt, allows us to be free. The second article highlights the hidden pressures that lead us to debt, and how we need to be aware of them. We all feel the temptation to keep up with the Joneses. I hope these articles provide you with some insight in living with margin.
A Free Online Event With Joe Sangl
On August 25th at 7pm, our friend Joe Sangl is hosting a FREE Online event that highlights 9 rungs to fully funded life.
